Draw Rules & Eligibility
These rules explain who may participate, when an entry becomes valid, how ticket records work, how draws close, how winners may be verified and what may result in an entry being rejected or disqualified.
Each draw may have additional campaign-specific rules. MeraInaam must operate each promotion only in a form permitted by applicable law. These website rules do not themselves establish that any particular paid chance-based promotion is lawful.
Eligible Account
Accurate user and contact information may be required.
Verified Entry
Payment application is not a confirmed ticket until approved.
Unique Tickets
Valid confirmed entries receive unique ticket references.
Winner Verification
Winner eligibility and ticket validity may be verified before prize confirmation.
1. Scope of These Rules
These rules apply to MeraInaam participation campaigns unless a particular prize page publishes additional or different campaign-specific conditions.
The prize page, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and these Draw Rules should be read together.
2. Who Is Eligible to Participate?
A participant must satisfy all requirements displayed for the relevant campaign and applicable legal requirements.
Do not advertise a specific age such as 18+ until the final business/promotion model has received appropriate legal review.
3. Account Requirements
MeraInaam may require participation to be linked to a registered user account.
- Account information must be accurate.
- The user should control the email address associated with the account.
- A participant should not impersonate another person.
- Multiple accounts must not be used to evade campaign restrictions.
- MeraInaam may request reasonable information to verify account ownership.
4. When Does an Entry Become Valid?
Selecting entries at checkout or uploading a payment screenshot does not automatically create a confirmed draw entry.
For the current manual-payment system, an entry should be treated as confirmed only after successful verification and ticket generation.
5. Payment Verification
Where bank transfer is used, MeraInaam may compare the payment application against transaction evidence and available financial records before confirming an entry.
Payment may remain pending where:
- The amount does not match the checkout total.
- Payment evidence is unclear or incomplete.
- The submitted transaction cannot be matched.
- Additional review is reasonably required.
Altered or fraudulent screenshots may result in rejection or account restriction.
6. Ticket Numbers
Each confirmed entry should be represented by the corresponding ticket reference generated by the MeraInaam system.
If five valid entries are approved, the system may issue five separate ticket numbers.
An MI-PAY application reference identifies a payment application and is not itself necessarily a winning-draw ticket.
The participant should use the confirmed ticket records shown in their account/dashboard when checking draw participation.
7. Entry Limits
A prize campaign may specify a maximum number of entries per user, account, person or another published limit.
Users must not attempt to bypass limits through duplicate accounts, false identities or automated means.
Where the website displays an overall number of available entries, submissions may stop once the applicable valid-entry limit is reached.
8. Draw Closing Rules
Each campaign may have a published closing date, closing condition or entry limit.
A participation request that remains unverified at closing may require manual review to determine whether payment was validly received before the applicable cut-off.
MeraInaam should not deliberately confirm late entries in a way that unfairly changes a completed participant pool.
The relevant prize page should be treated as the primary source for campaign-specific closing information.
9. Winner Selection
Winner selection must follow the method published for the relevant campaign and applicable legal requirements.
Before a campaign begins, MeraInaam should document the selection procedure sufficiently to allow the result to be checked against the confirmed eligible ticket pool.
The final selection method should not be changed after campaign closing merely to favour a particular participant.
Once the legally approved promotion model is finalized, this section should identify the exact winner-selection process—for example a documented computerized selection procedure, supervised process or another lawful published mechanism.
10. Winner Verification
A selected ticket may be treated as provisional until reasonable winner verification has been completed.
Verification may include:
- Confirming that the ticket exists in the eligible ticket pool.
- Confirming the associated payment and entry were valid.
- Confirming account and contact information.
- Confirming that the participant satisfied campaign eligibility rules.
- Requesting reasonable identity or delivery information where required.
Information should only be requested where reasonably necessary for verification or prize delivery.
11. Prize Claim & Delivery
Verified winners may be contacted using information associated with their MeraInaam account.
The winner may be required to respond within a reasonable claim period published for the relevant campaign.
Delivery or collection arrangements may depend on the prize type and winner location.
A winner should never be asked to provide a banking password, PIN or OTP simply to claim a prize.
12. When May a Redraw or Replacement Selection Occur?
Subject to applicable campaign rules and law, a replacement selection may be required if a selected participant is found to be ineligible, the winning ticket is invalid, required verification cannot reasonably be completed, or the prize remains unclaimed after an applicable published claim period.
Any replacement selection should use a consistent, documented process and should not be used simply to substitute a preferred participant.
13. Disqualification
An entry or participant may be rejected or disqualified where there is reasonable evidence of a material violation of the rules.
Examples include:
- Fraudulent or altered payment evidence.
- False identity or materially false account information.
- Unauthorized payment methods.
- Manipulation of website, payment or ticket systems.
- Circumventing published entry limits.
- Automated abuse, hacking or interference with selection systems.
- Failure to meet applicable eligibility requirements.
14. Winner Announcements
Once verification is complete, MeraInaam may publish winner information on its Winners page.
Public winner records may include the winner's name, prize, winning ticket, city and draw date.
Full payment evidence, raw IP addresses, complete phone numbers and internal administrative information should not ordinarily be made public.
15. Technical Problems
If a technical issue affects entry records, ticket generation or campaign operation, MeraInaam may review server records, payment records and confirmed ticket information to determine an appropriate resolution.
Technical problems should not be used to arbitrarily add or remove valid participants after the campaign closes.
16. Changes, Suspension or Cancellation
A campaign may be modified, postponed, suspended or cancelled where reasonably necessary because of legal requirements, technical issues, security concerns, product availability or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Any treatment of affected verified payments should follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
17. Questions & Disputes
If a participant believes an entry, payment, ticket or winner-verification decision is incorrect, they may contact MeraInaam Support and provide the relevant MI-PAY, ticket or support reference.
MeraInaam may review available records before providing a final response.
